Frosted Designs....I'm hosting the challenge

I'm hosting the challenge over at Frosted Designs this week!!!

it's a Punctuation or Keyboard Symbol challenge ..

Use a punctuation mark on your card/layout. Can be in the title/sentiment or as an embellishment.

PERIOD, COMMA and APOSTROPHE do NOT count (sorry, too easy).
Here are some ideas: Brackets {} or [] , Parenthesis (), Question Mark ?, Hashtag #, Quotation Marks"", Ampersand &, Percent %, Dollar Sign $ etc....

I used Studio Calico Printshop for my layout...I was inspired by the stickers Smile and etc...
then I had my main title Photogenic and etc... (using AMPERSAND as my symbol)

The large script transparent etc (lower right) was not showing up very well on my layout, so I turned it over and added blue Stickles to the back-side...took a day to dry and I love how it pops color with the contrast of the orange ampersand!!

Supplies used from the store:
Studio Calico Printshop Paper Pad
Studio Calico Printship Die-Cut Scripty Words
Studio Calico Printshop Transparent Die-Cuts
Studio Calico Printshop Stickers
Stickles Glitter Glue

Yesterday's post...revisited and fixed!!

I had some trouble with the last few layouts on this post yesterday due to some HTML code issues...I fixed them so now I.m going to repost the whole post...

This week was my turn at FROSTED DESIGNS .. I decided to share 2 layouts that I did using Studio Calico line, PRINTSHOP:

Here's my post:

I'm loving playing with the Studio Calico Printshop collection...there are just so many different colors and patterns...the possibilities are endless....

Here I used several different patterned papers in the same color tones and accented with black cardstock.

I used a few stickers and die-cuts (clouds, mini-heart, arrow, hello banner and camera).
The "YOU" die-cut actually says "You and Me"...but I cut it apart for this layout.
And I love using the "extra space" in my photos for titles ... We all know it's the sky, so it's just a fun way to enhance that space!!

I also wanted to share another one with this line.  A very simple one where I used one of the busier patterned papers in the collection and then using the Heidi Swapp Stencil,  traced a few of the hearts with a pencil and then went over the outline with Stickles.
There was one spot on the background paper that said "Air Mail" and that didn't fit my theme at all, so I just covered it up with a little of some matching paper & added a doggie clip & some quick info.

I love how stencils/masks have endless possibilities too!!

And...over there we are also sponsoring a challenge blog called Scrap Our Stash (I used to be on their DT...for a long long time...and I love them... they're a blast)...  but I played along with their sketch for the 2/15 challenge:

And...for my DT at SKETCHES IN THYME our current sketch for 2/15 is:

And using that inspiration, here is a canvas that I made of my nephews...

Elle's Studio Cameron layouts for Frosted Designs!!

I just can't get enough of this Elle's Studio Cameron collection that is for sale in the store!!!
(If you order by Monday, you will get 10% off all Elle's Studio Products!)
I shared 3 layouts with you last week and now I have 3 more to share!!

I wanted this first layout to be full of fun so I used lots of extra embellishments and the twine from my stash to document this friendship between my son and his buddy, Carson.

This one is pretty basic, but I love how easy the papers work together.

And there is a journal card that says "Best Brother"...I hid the "brother" and added "Family" for another layout for my friends...The BEST family (Best is their last name).
I had some fun folding back the corner of the green paper and distressing and doing some peek-a-boo looks around the edges.
This photo was the calendar that "comes with" your Christmas card prints (if you order them from Costco).
I covered up the calendar section with some papers, but left the 2014 date...even though the photo was really the end of 2013.

Thanks for visiting Frosted Designs!!
