So this immediately reminded me of photos of Joseph doing our regular Detoxifying Foot Baths...(removes toxins like heavy metal from your body). But the photos I have are pretty gross. But, with this challenge, I felt it was time to tackle those photos. So I dug them out and tried to stay with muted colors like in the painting.
I found a sketch that I thought would work perfectly with the photos and that is from The Scrappiest -- It's sketch #50.
All the patterned papers, corrugated Alphas and scallop journal spot are Jillibean Soup. Journal (the details)and light bulb are MME. Mini alphas are October Afternoon. I added the outer circle with Stickles.
And here is my layout: (and I love my title by the way)
And this is my second post today so please scroll down and click on "older posts" if you don't see 4 Ever My Boy (a really cute and totally different layout than this one!!) or you can navigate to it using the Blog Archive section in the sidebar to the right of this post.....
I agree! That title totally rocks!! Sooo cool! The papers you used on this are absolutely perfect!! Great job with the sketch too!

I like those corrugated title letters. Cute to see your boys getting a detox. Most boys wouldn't sit still long enough.
ReplyDeleteI love this page. I love that you just scrap those everyday moments! Great take on the sketch and the inspiration photo!
