Are you ready for Christmas?

We're all decorated....most (yea, most) of the presents are bought.  I still need to wrap the Santa gifts....  so we're looking good.

Here are some layouts for this week....

SKETCHES IN THYME we have this cute little sketch...and here's my layout...  I used Nikki's Tree Love papers, so I sent this to my friend Julie and hopefully we'll be seeing it on Nikki's blog soon!!

And over at Alphabet Challenge this week is H = Hats.  As I was going back loooking through some old photos, I found these pics of Joseph in the crib... with his Cat in the Hat quilt (that grandma made) and he's wearing it like a hat...so a layout is born.  This was important to document where that little quilt came from.  After I did the layout (he's 7 now), he made me pull the quilt out of his closet and he's sleeping with it again.  This is why scrapbooking is priceless!!!  I don't know if he'd ever have remembered that quilt (when he was an adult) unless I'd have done this simple page...but now he does and he'll appreciate that quilt!!

This month at MEMORABLE SEASONS our sketch designer is the super talented Susan Stringfellow...she brought us this 2 page sketch and my layout is below using Basic Grey Wander & photos from San Fran where Joseph had his charicture done.

So, I do sometimes work on layouts for fun or other challenges...(although sometimes by the time I finish them it's past the deadline...lol!!)  So here are a few more!!

Another awesome Susan Stringfellow sketch at SKETCH SAVVY and my trying to prove that a line of paper called INDIE GIRL can be used for BOYS too!!!

And at Scrapbookers Anonymous their December challenge is a layout using all rub-ons and no patterned paper.... ok, this was harder than I thought it'd be...I have TOOO many rubons to choose from and I like pp... i did use some Paper Tape (stars & red strip) & a ticket, but everything else is rubons!!!

  3. I really enjoy your pages! I was cracking up at the cat in the hat, that is just too cute. I am wishing that I had great photos of my boys when they were that age. I didn't have a good camera and I didn't scrap so my photo skills were pretty bad. LOL
