My post at Frosted Designs

I really had fun with this kit... here is my post that was over at Frosted Designs (actually yesterday...she posted it a little early due to a need to fill the spot).

*Joni made all of these projects from just one collection kit! And good news!  Collection Kits are on sale this week! Use code COLLECTIONKIT at checkout to receive 30% off!*
Hey .. have you checked out the Pink Paislee Hey Kid line?
I love love love this little Kit that they have put together and I wanted to share a few layouts and comments about this collection.  One thing I really love is the full sheets are "ready to go"...
What I mean is that on all 3 of the layouts below, the background paper is "straight" from the pack.  Sure, I added some stuff, but a lot of the "background work" was already done for me!!

First...did you see that our November 8th challenge was a "GIFT" challenge?
I used this kit to make this layout that you might have already seen.

And I love that it has both boy and girl papers....but I mostly do boy layouts...so I snapped a photo of one of my girlfriends and her twin daughters and made this for their scrapbook.

And...I really wanted to share this layout...a FIVE MINUTE LAYOUT...
Yep..this one took me FIVE minutes...

I started with this paper:

I just added the words COOL & KID, an arrow and "capture the moment" sticker...
my matted photo and journaling...DONE!!!

Cute, easy, fun and guess what...I still have TONS of this kit left to play with!!

a GIFT challenge at Frosted Designs

This week at FROSTED DESIGNS our challenge is:

a "gifted" challenge. It is wide open: create a card that holds a gift or gift card, a gift tag, bag, box, a layout about a gift!

So I went with the traditional layout and my subject is Joseph's birthday gift from Grandma & Grandpa (my parents).

I used the Pink Paislee Hey Kid Kre8tive kit from the Frosted Designs store...so fun to play with that kit!!

I used lots of the die-cuts and chipboard in this cluster at the top.

And the title is from alphas in the kit (they didn't stick very well, so I stitched them on).

And a little journaling to finish it up!

I realized I didn't share this layout last week...this is using the October Scrapbooking kit from Frosted Designs.

I had fun layering the Polaroid frames to make my journal spot.
